1. Who we are

ShopperHelper ("the app", "we", "us") is operated by ShopperHelper LLC, based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. You can reach us at shopperhelperllc@gmail.com.

2. Beta service

ShopperHelper is currently offered as a beta. That means:

Features may change, break, or be removed without notice.
Data may occasionally be reset or lost while we develop the service.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind.

3. Your account

You sign in through Google, Apple, Facebook, or email. You are responsible for keeping access to that sign-in method secure.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the app.
One person, one account. Households let you share a list and receipts with others you invite.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use the app to break the law, upload content you have no right to, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, or access other users' data. We may suspend accounts that do.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the receipts and data you add. You grant us the limited right to store and process that content to provide the service (see the Privacy Policy), including sending receipt images to an AI model to read the items off them.

6. No professional advice

Price comparisons, predictions, and deal matches are estimates to help you plan. They are not financial advice and may be wrong. Check prices in-store before you rely on them.

7. Changes and termination

We may change these terms or discontinue the service at any time. We will make a reasonable effort to tell you about material changes. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data, arising from your use of a beta service provided free of charge. [Have counsel set the appropriate cap/exclusions for your jurisdiction.]

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
